Even if you don't have an XBoom Coupler®... A common problem when connecting any quick-connect hydraulic coupler between a machine and an attachment, is that line pressure can build up, from either the machine side, or in the attachment lines, thus making connection of the hydraulic couplers nearly impossible without having to relieve the line pressure. Now, the XBoom Coupler QC-Mate quickly, and safely solves that problem!

The QC-Mate "Connect Under Pressure Hand Clamp" works wherever and whenever you need to re-attach auxiliary hydraulic lines... The QC-Mate(TM) works great for almost any attachment on a Utility Tractor, Skid Steer Loader, Track Loader, Mini-Skid Steer, Mini-excavator, Midi excavator, or full size excavator!

As you can see the XBoom Coupler® QC Mate (TM) incorporates special shaped "Clamp Jaws" that mount to the “ratcheting bar clamp.” The Clamp Jaws accommodate from 3/8-in-NPT to 7/8-in NPT (see images below)... and is compatible with all standard Flat-Face Hydraulic Couplers and Ag Style Hydraulic Couplers within those sizes. In conjunction with the “ratcheting bar clamp” it presents a compact, slim, cost-effective and easy to use connection device with very high clamping forces!

The XBoom Coupler® QC-Mate(s) are precision laser cut from robust 13-ga steel with large structural side gussets for extreme clamping strength. Likewise, the attachment locations of the clamp jaws to the “host clamp” are designed to take advantage of the clamps most robust molded features.

Will the QC-Mate work for my set-up?...

This tool is compatible with ALL standard 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, and 7/8 NPT nipples and fittings that attach to the back-side of Flat-Face and Ag Style Hydraulic Couplers. This clamp presents a compact, cost-effective, and easy to use connection device with very high clamping forces! However, the Clamp Jaws need to engage the back-side of each coupler. Therefore, this device may not be compatible with some “Hydraulic Blocks” where access to both sides of the circuit are not accessible? Also, pre-measure your longest connection point distance (the spread) and pick the length of clamp that will work best (12 or 18-in is available)… For the jaws to engage, you have to have access to the “flat” surfaces on the back of the couplers and a “shared center-line” for the clamp to align correctly and create an "in-line" clamping force. However, some modern skid-steers have "hydraulic blocks" that may or may not be compatible with the XBoom Coupler® QC-Mate. You need look at your specific set-up. If you have un-obstructed standard fittings going into your ISO standard Quick-Connect Hydraulic Couplers, then the XBoom Coupler® QC-Mate should work!
