Notes:
1. All sizes/capacities are approximated based on a broad sampling of comparable makes and models. For your machine, you can reference your specific machine's capacity chart.
2. "B" This is an average distance to the end of the machine's boom (where the XBoom Coupler® is mounted)
3. "C" Lifting capacities of most machines are doubled over the blade with the blade down and used as an out-rigger/stabilizer
4. These estimates include substituting the weight of the dipper-stick/bucket assembly for the weight of the XBoom Coupler®, including the approximate weight of a universal skid steer attachment tool, i.e. bucket or set of forks, etc... meaning the capacities listed are what you can actually lift.
5. Also, these capacities are at ground level, so the higher, or lower you go, the closer you get to the machine's centerline and the more capacity you have.
Intrigued, but still not sure if you should convert your eXcavator?
If you could quickly and economically turn one machine (your eXcavator) into two machines (an eXcavator and a loader/tool carrier) wouldn’t you do it?... That point alone should have some appeal… But the real “why it matters” reason, is to offer, for the first time ever, a simple, economical and robust way to have a full revolving loader/tool carrier, and all the new capability and possibilities that come with this new machine configuration. You see, you’re not just turning one machine into two, you are creating an entirely new type of machine!... By mounting the X-Boom Coupler System to the rigid one piece excavator boom, along with the excavator’s full 360°revolving machine platform…you open the doors to a whole new way to accomplish loader and material handling work:
Load in one direction, swing the upper-structure around and drive away in the other direction to unload…all while never having to turn the undercarriage
Unload at any angle relative to the undercarriage...off to the side, or at any angle
Use work tools in both directions by simply swinging the upper-structure and reversing the drive direction of the machine and use the work tool coming back
Eliminate the need to travel in reverse…Just swing the upper-structure and always have a safe, clear view in the travel direction of the machine
Work in confined areas with minimal undercarriage adjustment and precise, smooth and safe motions
Take low ground disturbance to a whole new level by having the ability to load, travel, and unload anywhere around the path of the machine without ever aggressively turning the undercarriage
Transport both a "digger" and a "loader / tool carrier" on one smaller trailer
All this new functionality while utilizing practically any available universal skid-steer loader attachment
These are the main reasons behind the introduction of the X-Boom Coupler System, and why it matters…You see, these are not simply just a couple new quick-hitch couplers, rather they simply and economically give you an entirely new machine platform!... Now, what other coupler can you say that about?
